1. What is Werewolf X – Two Inns?
The classic party game has arrived on Parallel! Use sharp discussion to identify the werewolves who try to mislead you. In “Werewolf X – Two Inns”, you can choose a mode to suit your group size and play style: One-Turn Werewolf or Normal Werewolf.
- Each mode has different minimum and maximum player counts.
- The number of each role cannot be customized.
2. How to Play
a. Mode Selection
The player who starts the mini-game (the Owner/Host) can choose between two modes:
One-Turn Werewolf
Decided by the result of a single vote. Suited for small groups or short sessions.
【Villagers’ win conditions】
- A werewolf receives votes in the ballot.
- If there are no werewolves, neither the “werewolf” nor the villager side receives any votes.
【Werewolves’ win condition】
- No votes are cast against the werewolf.
Normal Werewolf
Villagers and werewolves battle it out to the end. Best for larger groups and deeper mind games.
【Villagers’ win condition】
- Banish (or have killed at night) all werewolves.
【Werewolves’ win condition】
- The number of villagers becomes less than or equal to the number of werewolves.
b. Role Descriptions
Villager Side
- Villager: No special ability
- Bodyguard: Each night, protects one player from a werewolf attack
- Medium: Each night, learns whether the banished player was a werewolf
- Seer: Each night, divines one player to learn if they are a werewolf
- Thief (One-Turn mode only): On the first night, steals someone’s role and becomes that role. The target does not know they were stolen from.
Werewolf Side
- Werewolf: Each night, chooses a player to attack. If multiple werewolves exist, coordinate the target.
- Madman: No active ability; belongs to the werewolf side and sows confusion.
c. Play Sequence
Once the mode is set, the game begins and proceeds as follows:
- Role Reveal: Right after the game starts, each player’s role is displayed.
- Night 1: After everyone confirms their role, move to the first night’s actions.
- On Night 1, only the Seer and Thief act.
- Daytime Discussion: After night actions, day begins; discuss whom to banish.
- Voting: After discussion, vote and confirm the banished player.
- If there’s a tie, a random pick is made from among the tied players.
- If no votes are cast, a random player is selected.
- Night Again: If neither side has met its win condition after banishment, proceed to the night phase. After all night actions, the werewolf attack is resolved.
- Next Day: At dawn, only the surviving players continue the discussion.
One-Turn Werewolf ends after step 4 (Voting). Normal Werewolf ends when either side meets its win condition.
d. Results
When a win condition is met, the game moves to the Results screen, where you can review whether your reads were correct.
