1. What is Speed?
The rules are simple! Play a card from your hand that is +1 or −1 relative to a card on the table. Empty your stack of 26 cards faster than your opponents—the order in which players finish determines the final ranking.
- When you play a card from your hand to the table, draw from your stack to refill your hand.
- If no one can play, “SPEED” is triggered and additional cards are dealt to the center.
- The number of center piles is selectable. With 3 players, choose 2 or 3 piles; with 4 players, the Host may choose 2 to 4 piles.
- Be the fastest to play all your cards!
2. How to Play
a. Rule Setup
The player who starts the game (the Host) sets the number of center piles, then begins the game. The selectable range depends on the number of participants.
b. Speed Time
After the rules are confirmed, a countdown starts and the game begins. Once it starts, play any legal cards from your hand to the center faster than other players. Rankings are determined by the order in which players empty their 26 cards. If no player has a legal move, “SPEED” is triggered to deal new cards to the center, enabling someone to play.
c. Results
When only one player still has cards, the game ends. Rankings are based on the order in which players emptied their 26-card stacks.
Note: Due to network conditions, the displayed finish timestamps may not perfectly match the ranking order, but the rankings themselves are correct.
