1. What is Votell?
The impression-sharing game Votell has arrived on Parallel. It’s a game where you vote on which friend best fits a given prompt, and then enjoy the results together.
- Who voted for whom is not shown.
- After playing, you can generate a URL to collect additional votes.
2. How to Play
a. Start the Game
When the mini-game launches, the host taps Start to begin. Selecting View past results lets you review outcomes from previous games and any extra vote collections.
b. Voting Time
Five prompts are presented per game. The eligible candidates vary by prompt. For each prompt, vote for the friend you feel fits it best.
c. Discussion Time
After voting on a prompt, the results are displayed. Use this time to discuss impressions and why each person was chosen.
d. Collect More Votes
After all prompts are completed, you can collect additional votes by sharing a link. This allows people outside the current group to vote—useful when you want more responses.
- Results from additional votes can be viewed in Aggregated Results (from the mini-game launch screen or after the game ends).
e. Results
When all prompts and any additional vote collection are finished, the game ends. For each prompt, the person with the most votes is shown. To review details or the extra votes, open Aggregated Results.
3. Past Aggregated Results
From the launch screen, tap View past results to see voting outcomes from previous sessions. You can also check any extra vote collections and voters on this page.
- You can initiate further vote collection from the aggregated results page.
- Additional vote collection closes after a set period.
- Past aggregated results may no longer be viewable after a set period.
