How to play Drawing Q

1. What is Drawing Q (Quiz)?

The drawing & quiz game “Drawing Q” has arrived on Parallel. Draw a picture based on the given prompt. The picture you draw will be presented to others as a quiz.

  • When other players correctly guess the picture you drew, you earn (number of players) × 1 pt.
  • When you correctly guess a picture drawn by someone else, you earn 1 pt.

After every player has presented their quiz, the player with the highest total points wins. Compete for points and witness the birth of a new master artist!

  • The Owner can choose the question category and the answer language.
  • Only the Owner can select Play Again.

2. How to Play

a. Rule Setup

The player who starts the mini-game (the Owner) selects the rules. There are two settings:

  • Category
    • Choose the category for the prompts to be presented.
  • Answer Language
    • The prompt language and the on-screen keyboard for answers change based on this setting.

b. Prompt Selection Time

Each player is shown three prompts. Choose the prompt you’d like to draw from the options presented.

c. Drawing Time

Draw your picture so that other players can infer the prompt you selected. The picture you draw will be presented to the others as a quiz.

d. Answer Time

Player order is shuffled, and the drawings are presented one by one as quizzes. Each drawing is replayed in the order it was drawn (stroke-by-stroke). When playback ends—or when you tap the Answer button—you move to the answer input screen. There is a time limit for answering. When it expires, it’s TIME UP.

  • If others correctly guess your drawing: (number of players) × 1 pt
  • If you correctly guess someone else’s drawing: 1 pt

You cannot answer your own drawing; you only view the other players’ answers.

e. How to Answer

On the answer input screen, type your answer using the keyboard. When you finish typing, tap Done and submit within the time limit to have it judged.

You can submit only once. If TIME UP occurs, the text currently entered will be judged as your answer.

f. Results

The game ends after all prompts from all participating players have been presented. Final rankings are determined by the points at the end.
