1. What is Pitcure Chain?
The rules are simple! Everyone takes turns drawing so the shiritori word-chain continues. Guess what the previous player drew, then draw a word that starts with the last letter of that guessed word. At the end of your turn, type the word you drew and pass play to the next person.
- The first letter is chosen at random.
- If the last character is 「ん」 or a prolonged sound mark 「ー」, continue from the character immediately before it.
- If the last character has dakuten/handakuten (voicing marks) or is a small kana, treat it as the base/full-size character for chaining.
- There are time limits for both drawing and text entry — keep an eye on the clock!
2. How to Play
a. Rule Setup
The player who starts the game (the Owner/Host) sets the drawing time and the number of drawings per player, then starts the game. The maximum drawing time per player is 120 seconds.
b. Confirm Rules
Check the first letter, the turn order, and how many times each player draws.
c. Drawing Shiritori Time
Players take turns drawing to continue the shiritori chain. The first player draws a picture starting from the randomly assigned first letter, then enters the word as text. After the drawing timer ends, you still have 30 seconds to input the text.
d. Results
When the preset number of drawings is finished, the results screen appears, and you can see whether the drawing chain connects correctly.
